Editors · 2026-10-11
Forty-six Korean dramas premiered between April and June 2024. SBS's Connection signed off with 14.2% for its finale, and MBC's Chief Detective 1958 opened at 10.1% with episode 1. On Netflix, Parasyte: The Grey, The 8 Show and Hierarchy reached No. 1 on the global chart for non-English TV one after another. tvN's Lovely Runner peaked at just 5.8% in the ratings, yet it made 2024 year-end lists from Time, Cine21 and others.
Below are the titles that defined the quarter. Ratings are Nielsen Korea nationwide figures (pay-TV households for cable and general-programming channels), and Netflix rankings and views come from Netflix's official weekly charts (retrieved October 11, 2026). Netflix view totals are the simple sum of weekly views across the weeks a title spent in the global Top 10.
