• ·Quarterly schedules: see what airs or opens in a given year and quarter, grouped in one place.
• ·Network and streaming filters: narrow by channel type — broadcast, cable, streaming — or by where a title is actually watchable, such as Netflix, TVING, or wavve.
• ·People-first browsing: tap an actor, writer, or director to jump to their other work.
• ·Four languages: titles, synopses, and personal names follow each language's own conventions. Japanese actors' names, for example, appear in Hangul transliteration on Korean pages.

Data we collect and build ourselves

• ·Ratings rankings: we aggregate TV ratings weekly from Wikipedia's public records, supplemented by RACOI open data from the Korea Communications Commission and KOBACO, and build quarterly and yearly rankings by average rating.
• ·Box office: admissions figures from KOFIC's KOBIS and Japanese box-office grosses are collected regularly to rank theatrical releases.
• ·Awards: winners from major Korean and Japanese award ceremonies are linked to their titles and people, organized by year.
• ·Name transliteration: the names of roughly 15,000 Japanese actors and directors were transliterated into Hangul and reviewed by hand.

Data sources and limitations

Title and people data comes from TMDB (The Movie Database). Ratings are TMDB user scores; because new titles often have too few votes to be meaningful, anything under five votes is shown as “Not yet rated” instead of a number.

Streaming availability differs by region (Korea and Japan) and typically lags theatrical release by months, so many titles have no listing yet.

Where no original synopsis or localized name existed, the text was filled in by machine translation or transliteration. If you spot an error, let us know via the contact page and we will look into it.
