Follows Hinako Shimizu, a teenage girl rebelling against oppressive societal and patriarchal expectations. Ebisugaoka in 1961, Hinako faces domestic friction, an unwanted arranged marriage tied to her father's debts, and a creeping mist filled with toxic red spider lilies and grotesque flora.
